Thanks Scott for your comments! It's funny how you mentioned the elephant quote, Julie's Grandma has been saying that to her for years - you can't eat an elephant all at once! And while it is a bit of a crude saying (if you think about it too much), there is 100% truth in it.

Julie starts everyday with her To Do list. But, it doesn't stop there, she fine tunes this list of "To Do's" down to what is important and will move her closer to her goals. If it's not moving her towards her goal of X, then she puts it on the backburner for another time.

I am learning from her as I go, and am instilling this into my daily routine (create your To Do list and prioritize it based on your goals). Every day I get a little bit better at knocking the important things off my list.

Keep up the great blogging (I have started reading it after the recent REI Battle where I saw some of your comments)!

Cheers,

Everyday I fight myself to take action on the little things in order to train myself "to do" instead of "not to do". The reason we put off, or just don't do is we feel the task is to large and will take to much effort. I break down the "large task" into the smallest tasks possible. How's the saying go..."how do you eat an elephant? one bit at a time" or something like that. it's so true and you'll be amazed at how even the most daunting task can be easily accomplished if you just take it one small step at a time.
